Besser spät als nie, d.h. also nun doch noch dieses Jahr möchte ich mal aus dem Wust der You Tube-Schanden und Schätze ein wahres Prachtexemplar vorstellen und habe mir vorgenommen, das demnächst dann monatlich zu tun…
Damals, also vor ungefähr 15 Jahren, zur Blütezeit des Grunge war man ja unter anderem oftmals Pearl Jam-Fan – ich zumindest ein sehr großer. Grundsätzlich hat Eddie Vedder es ja meist geschafft halbwegs verständlich zu singen und es gab ja auch Textbeilagen. Aber einen Song, nämlich "Yellow ledbetter“, haben wir nie einstimmig entwirren können, und wenn wir die Worte zu verstehen glaubten, dann machten sie nicht unbedingt Sinn?!
Hier war nun jemand wirklich äußerst kreativ und hilfreich, und endlich weiß ich… wieder einmal nicht, was Eddie wirklich gesungen hat, aber das ist nicht schlimm, wie man am Ende des Videos sehen kann…
(macht auch Spaß, wenn man Eddie Vedder und / oder den Song nicht kennt)
